Upon inspecting a property virtually with Jerry, we applied and got the all clear that the owner had accepted our application and approved us for the property. We then got the phone call from Jerry to say that it was ours and to deposit the 2 weeks amount as holding deposit in which we did. 2 weeks holding deposit is a breach and illegal. Only one week is the only amount that is required as a holding deposit, stated by Fair Trade. We sent the receipt to Jerry. The following day we received a message from Jerry to say the owner needs to confirm. This is after Jerry had received our deposit and after stating that the owner has confirmed. Jerry had stated to me he has numerous deposits on this property. Jerry accepted numerous deposits on this property which is in itself illegal . We then received a message from Jerry stating that the owner has chosen another application. Very unprofessional in how this company runs their property management. Beware!

Amending my previous 5 star review as I’ve had a terrible experience with CitiOne who failed to tell me that the house I just bought for my family and I had a roof leak last month. I only found out when I got the keys from the tenant (we had to wait for them to leave before we could move in) - and as a result we haven’t been able to move in yet because we need to have all of the water damage and mould fixed and removed. Various people from CitiOne spoke to me over the past month but not ONE single person told me about the roof leak so that I could have acted on it sooner. So sad and disappointed as the agent we dealt with when buying the house knew about all of the struggles we had with our previous property purchase and how hard we worked to be able to buy another home for our family 😔

Jerry has made massive difference for the sale of our property during the tough Covid period. He made the whole process seamless and transparent. There is no doubt that I will leave my future property portfolio into their professional hand!
